Most of the Yankees stars didn’t play in this game besides Cano, Matsui, and Damon. Ian Kennedy started today’s game and he pitched really well. His stat line looked like: 4.1 IP 6 H 1 ER 4 K. Kennedy looks like he is ready to start the season. The Yankees relievers today surrendered 1 run and struck out 6. Farnsworth allowed the one run out of the pen today, but surprisingly..he has been pretty good this Spring. Maybe this is a different Kyle? I sure hope so. Joba entered the game..tossed only 11 pitches in the 7th inning and struck out the side. Brett Cecil was supposed to start the game for the Jays, but instead it was Kane Davis. Davis’ stat line was: 3 IP 5 H 4 ER 3 BB 1 K.

Yankees batters had a total of 15 hits today. Damon, Cano, Duncan, Betemit, and Ransom all had 2 hits a piece. Wilson Betemit lead the offense going 2-3 with 3 RBI’s, including a monster home run shot in the 5th inning off of Accardo. Jay’s Aaron hill went 2-3 with a run and a rbi.
Yankees beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-2 and IPK picked up the win. The Yanks are playing a night game tomorrow against the Tampa Rays, which will start at 7:15 p.m. ET at Legends Field. Darrell Rasner is going to be starting tomorrow’s game, hoping to earn a spot in the bullpen. He will be facing off with Andy Sonnanstine.
