A recent chat on a message board got me thinking about this. I’m not saying he is a HOFer, but I think its very possible. I mean..Posada is 36 years old. He is still under contract and has a few more years left. He could also extend his career and play 1st Base. I think when he retires..and its all said and done I think his numbers will look HOF worthy.
Now compare Posada’s numbers with a few HOF Catchers:
