The New York Yankees have four players in the Hawaiian Winter Baseball League. They are all playing for the Waikiki BeachBoys. They are: Andrew Brackman, Jeremy Bleich, Austin Romine, and Damon Sublett. They have only played a couple of games so far, but this is what they have put up only a few games into the season.

Andrew Brackman is the guy to watch out of all of them. Brackman was the Yankees 2007 #1 Draft Pick. He has an amazing 6-foot-10 frame. He was signed but had Tommy John surgery which set him back a year. This is his first time playing professional ball. He made his debut on September 27th, and he got rocked. That is understandable though..as he hasn’t been in any real action. His line was ugly..looked like this: L, 2.1IP 7H 7R 6ER 2BB 3K. He rebounded though..no doubt about it. He started this past Friday and pitched 5 shutout innings, and looked like the guy we drafted. His line was fantastic: W, 5.0IP 3H 0R 0ER 1BB 5K. It was his first win in professional baseball for him. Congrats to him. Waikiki currently has a 2-4 record. It will be fun to watch and follow these young guys through the winter.
