Nobody is taking away the talent that Manny has, but would NY be the right place for him? It seems me like he only plays when he wants to. He watches his home runs leave the stadium, and his lackadaisical fielding makes me angry. If he was given a big contract, would he quit on the team like he did with Boston? Manny is playing for a contract right now, so you hear what a good teammate and leader he is. He carried the Dodgers on his back and into the playoffs, and the team would probably be golfing now instead of being in the NLCS. It’s hard to believe that Yankee fans would accept him, especially after tormenting them for so many years with the Sox.

I would think the Dodgers would consider re-signing him after what he has done for the team. Will have to wait and see on how things turn out.
