I’m sorry about the lack of my opinion in these posts, but as of now I have a lot of school work to do and I just can’t keep up with the news flow. These GM meetings don’t bring out much BREAKING NEWS, but it’s a lot more about rumors and trade talk. I will have a lot better stuff this weekend.

a few rotoworld updates:
Ivan Rodriguez
The New York Daily News reports that Ivan Rodriguez is unlikely to re-sign with the Yankees.Rodriguez hit just .219 in 33 games for the Yankees while filling in for an injured Jorge Posada. As of now the Yankees plan to have Posada back behind the plate, but his shoulder problems make him a question mark. Rodriguez is a shell of his former self, but should be able to find significant playing time elsewhere.
Austin Jackson
Austin Jackson went 0-for-4 on Tuesday and is 2-for-21 with a 7/0 K/BB ratio in his last five games in the AFL.Jackson started off well enough, but he’s down to .233/.269/.384 in 73 at-bats. It’s hardly a major source of concern. He’ll open next year as a 22-year-old in Triple-A.
