Pettitte:
According to the New York Post, the Yankees “remain interested in” Andy Pettitte, but “aren’t going to pay him the $16 million he earned last season.” The newspaper quotes “a Yankee source” as saying that Pettitte’s agent doesn’t want him to accept a pay cut, but that seems unreasonable after he went 14-14 with a 4.54 ERA in 2008.
Mussina:
The New York Post reports that the Yankees expect Mike Mussina to retire. Mussina has indicated that he’ll make an official announcement at some point this week after saying last Wednesday that he was “still kind of up in the air.”
Juan Miranda:
Juan Miranda homered twice and drove in five runs Monday for the Javelinas of the AFL.
After missing some time due to injury, Miranda has hit four homers in seven AFL games this month. He’s batting .303/.387/.682 in 66 at-bats.

Wow thanks for posting those pictures. The stadium looks amazing. It really just hit me a few days ago that ill never set foot in the real Yankee stadium again. Sad to think about but the new place sure does look great.
