Here is some interesting news. Jon Heyman reports on twitter that the Yankees might consider giving up Joba Chamberlain for Roy Halladay. I would do it. I would say Hughes is untouchable right now.
Let’s see exactly what they want in return before we jump to any conclusions. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.
#yankees might – repeat, might – consider giving up joba for #halladay. but wont entertain request of joba & hughes.
Just when Joba started to pitch good they decide to trade him. Haha. Halladay is the best in the game. Yanks are a lock for the series if they get him. Halladay-Sabathia-Burnett. It’s the real Dream Team.

7 more days until pitchers and catchers report
Joba & who else?
…and for all Mr. Halladay’s prowess & recent hype from jock sniffers who previously never knew there was even an MLB team in Canada—he’s not so hot @ FengShui Park. Beating the snot out of everybody but caving to Bahston & LAAA won’t get it.
Why don’t we actually look at what Halladay has done against the Red Sox instead of randomly throwing out accusations and hoping for the best?
2009: 1 start, 9 innings, 1 run, 7 k’s, no walks
2008: 5 starts, 38.2 innings (2 CG), 2.56 ERA, 4.0 K/BB ratio
And for the hell of it, the Angels:
2009: 2 starts, 17 innings (1 CG), 2.65 ERA, 20 K’s, 3 walks
2008: 1 start, 7 innings, 2 runs, 7k’s, no walks
In other words, total domination of the two teams you claim he struggles against. But who really cares about facts these days anyway?
Some of the following may also not be factual-
1. I meant Wyatt Earp’s Doc Holliday
2. I have dial up
3. I am a Red Sox fan
4. never trust a non-paid researcher
5. you obviously don’t read MY blog…
Halladay v. Red Sox (career)–
34 starts, 12-12, 240IP, 256H, 59BB, 174K, 4.46ERA, 1.311WHIP
@ Fenway (career)–
18 starts, 5-8, 128IP, 130H, 31BB, 98K, 4.29ERA, 1.258WHIP
BUT who really cares about facts in a “What have you done for me lately world?” Now I have to pay the little @#%&*! ;-)
Great site and nice article really like what its talking about, I will be linking back to your site from mine.
