According to Bill Madden of the Daily News, the Yankees offered Wang a minor-league contract, that would turn into a major-league deal once he proved that his shoulder was in the proper condition.
Wang’s agent, Alan Nero, wanted guaranteed money and he didn’t get it. It wouldn’t be very wise for the Yankees to give him guaranteed money, when there is no real time table for his return. In response to the offer, Nero told them that Wang would be moving on to another team. That marks the end of Wang’s tenure with the Yankees.
In other news, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports says that three AL teams and three NL teams have shown interest in Wang. He stated that the Dodgers are not one of those teams “yet.” Of course there is a lot of speculation of him going to LA, considering Torre, Bowa, and Mattingly are there.

If his shoulder is OK, why would he need guaranteed $$? If he performs he will get payed. Nero needs to stop thinking like Boras and use his head.
