Apparently, number 23, Donnie Baseball is undergoing some, *AHEM* pains with the Major League Baseball over a trademark application his company has submitted. The logo Mattingly Hitting Products, Inc has tried to trademark was deemed too similar to Major League Baseball’s logo by MLB’s legal team, or whomever.
When comparing the two logos, at least to me, there is no confusion which one Major League Baseball is, but, then again Major League Baseball wants to make sure even the people with the lowest IQ’s knows who they are.
To me, this is bordering slightly on retarded, so best of luck to you Donnie Baseball! Now, I wonder if Donnie Baseball was still coaching with the Yankees, how much support they’d be providing him in this matter…
