The Los Angeles Times reports that the Manny Ramirez talks are at a stalemate. Meanwhile, they are thinking about adding Adam Dunn or Bobby Abreu to fill that missing spot if they can’t land Manny. You would have thought that once Teixeira left the market Manny would leave soon after, but that’s not the case.
‘Manny is our first choice,’ General Manager Ned Colletti says, but stalled negotiations lead club to consider other corner outfielders in what has become a buyer’s market.“I’m assuming, if Manny wants to play here, we’ll hear at some point from Scott,” Colletti said.“Manny is our first choice,” Colletti said.
