Dan Connolly talked to Burnett’s agent, and it seems like he has narrowed down his list of potential teams he would want to go to. Braunecker said that A.J. narrowed his list down to 6 teams. The teams still in the mix are said to be the: Orioles, Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Phillies, and Braves. It’s got to the point now where I say..if they get him..they get him. If not, than there are other options out there.
Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun talked to A.J. Burnett’s agent Darek Braunecker, who said his client has narrowed his list from twelve to about six teams. The Orioles remain in the mix after Andy MacPhail had a “nice conversation” with Braunecker on Friday.
It’s speculated that the Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Phillies, and Braves are the other five clubs. In his comments, Braunecker didn’t seem dead set on a five-year deal.
